Stainless Steel Fish Spatula
- 2 salmon fillets skin on
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Heat a non stick pan (or cast iron skillet) and add some olive oil over medium high heat. Place the salmon skin side down in the pan and season the flesh side with the cajun seasoning. Cook for 4 minutes.
Flip the salmon over and the skin will be nice and crisp. Add the butter, garlic, and thyme to the pan and let it melt and infuse.
Top the salmon with 2 cloves each of garlic and tilt the pan to pool the butter to one side. With a spoon begin to baste the salmon.
Serve hot and enjoy!
