Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops

Ingredients – 4 bone in pork chops – 1/2 tsp onion powder – 1/2 tsp garlic powder – 1/2 tsp salt – 1/2 tsp black pepper – 1 onion sliced – 2 tsp minced garlic – 1/4 cup white wine – 1 cup chicken broth – 1/2 cup half & half – 1 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce – 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning – 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes – 1 1/2 lb baby potatoes halved – 1/2 lb baby carrots – 1 tbsp corn starch – 1 tbsp water – salt & pepper to taste

Pat dry pork chops with paper towels and then season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.

Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side. Set aside.

Add onions and cook for 2 minutes stirring occasionally. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds.

Pour white wine into the pan and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add chicken broth, half & half, Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.

Add potatoes and carrots and season with salt and pepper. Place pork chops on top and pour gravy mixture over the pork chops.

Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Serve pork chops with gravy on top and vegetables on the side and enjoy!
