Oysters- Blue Point oysters are usually what's available to me at my local grocery store but use your favorite.

Butter- This makes anything better am I right? Unsalted butter is recommended because other ingredients bring salt.

Garlic- Fresh garlic adds tons of flavor to the oysters.

Lemon- Seafood and lemon goes together like peas and carrots. The acidity helps cut through the fat from all the butter used.

Parmesan Cheese- This salty goodness is what makes this recipe special.

Liquids- Worcestershire sauce adds umami while the hot sauce adds more flavor than heat since there isn't a bunch. If you want some added quick add more at the end.

Shuck oysters. If you have a place that will shuck them for you and leave them on the half shell, even better to cut down prep time.

Take a heaping spoonful of the seasoned butter and put on top of the oysters. This will ensure there is a generous portion of the sauce on each oyster to cook in.

Place oysters on a charcoal grill. Make sure it's on the hottest part of the grill. If you only have a gas grill you can still make this recipe. Just make sure it's on high heat and on the hottest spot. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.
