    Healthy Green Juice Recipe

    Green juice is a refreshing juice made from leafy greens and other green fruits and vegetables, hence the name. The ingredient list is really simple and can be found in the produce section of all grocery stores. No need to go to your local juice bar for green drinks when you can make it at home for way less. Green juice is a great way to help meet your daily intake of fruits and vegetables without sitting and eating salads. Some health benefits are thats it helps reduce inflammation, hydrates skin, improves immune system, and improves gut health.

    The main difference in this juice recipe versus others is that a high speed blender is used instead of a fancy juicer. Most people don't own an expensive juicer so this makes it more convenient for people to make at home. Even if you don't have a high powered blender (like a ninja) you can still make this fresh juice by adding the ingredients in individually. The extra step would be to strain the pulp out which is what a juicer would do, but these simple steps are very easy to achieve that. Follow this basic formula and you will be making homemade green juice more often.

    Let's Make This Easy Green Juice Recipe!

    First thing to do is prep the fruit and vegetables. Chop the celery, peel the ginger root, peel and chop lemon, and core and chop the fresh apples. No need to prep the spinach because you can blend the whole leaves.

    Add everything into a high-speed blender and blend until everything is juiced. If you have a low speed blender, I would blend water and spinach first then add in the other ingredients one by one.

    Drape cheese cloth or a nut milk bag over a large bowl and empty blender jar into the bowl. Carefully squeeze out juice for best result. You can also use a fine mesh strainer. If you wanted to add extra fiber, add in some of the pulp that was separated.

    Pour over ice and enjoy or store in a glass jar.

    • 4 cups spinach
    • 1 lemon
    • 3 stalks celery
    • 2 apples
    • 1 in ginger root
    • 1 cup water

    Instructions

    • Add everything into a high-speed blender and blend until everything is juiced. If you have a low speed blender, I would blend water and spinach first then add in the other ingredients one by one.
